llkkkkkkkkkecgt45hhijrrrrr8ubbifccccccccccccccccccccccccccccci9kt9i9oo9ooooiuujhtffftsn- this is what my daughter thinks about it as she sees me writing this post. But jokes apart see the predicament that all of us face. Kick off is at 6 15 and my daughters party is at 6. Will I stay away or just up and leave . My wife has already asked a friend of mine to ensure that I stay away from the TV and she has agreed to try. Will she succeed, time will tell. I have put my digibox on record but will I be able to watch this game recorded ? Friends of mine will be texting the score frequently, will I be able to stay away ?
Oh man I am in turmoil. A part of me says, it is my daughters 10th and she will not turn 10 again. Another part says but it is a big big game and my neighbour is a liverpool fan and if he is watching how can I not.
watch this space for to know what happened

guess what - I did it, i fulfilled all the responsibilities, saw off the last guest without it seeming that it was stage managed, did not feel too bad that I missed both the goals but saw the game from minute 60 onwards to the end. What better gift for my daughter that for her fav Ooney scoring both and then Man U winning !
ReplyDeleteHowever what was interesting was that my mind was alert to 3 things through the party
1. That my neighbour had not screamed even once,so it meant Liv had not scored
2. A friend had not texted which meant we had not yet scored
3.That there was power, so the game was getting recorded !
At 6.15 I was also conscious of the fact that Suarez may not have taken Evras hand and that could potentially mean an explosive game !
So did it my friends, and just shows that it is possible to go into rehab when needed and then get back, because i also saw the last 20 minutes of the Chelsea loss and the dramatic injury time winner by Henry for arsenal.
